Leading veteran service organizations unite to launch the largest collaborative small business ecosystem for military entrepreneurs in the country.

True collaboration is about transparency, data-sharing, and holding each other accountable. We are changing the way nonprofits do business, and those we serve will be better for it.”

WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Military Street USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, announced the official launch of the nation’s first unified platform dedicated to supporting military-connected entrepreneurs.

Built to simplify the entrepreneurial journey, Military Street USA (aka MilStreet) brings together six trusted veteran service organizations to provide mentorship, training, access to capital, marketing support, joint advocacy efforts, and a national e-commerce marketplace, as part of one collaborative ecosystem. Veterans, military spouses, and transitioning service members can now access the resources they need through a single online platform designed specifically for the military community.

“True collaboration is more than simply sharing logos; it is about transparency, data-sharing, and holding each other accountable. We are changing the way nonprofits do business, and those we serve will be better for it,” Stephanie Brown, Founder & CEO, MilitaryStreet USA.

Military-connected entrepreneurs continue to face significant barriers despite being one of the country’s most resilient and entrepreneurial communities. At roughly 22%, military spouse unemployment remains four times the national average; meanwhile, nearly half of all military spouses today are choosing entrepreneurship as a viable, portable career. Lack of capital and meaningful networking opportunities are listed as the key barriers for transitioning service members and veterans considering launching a business.

MilStreet USA solves the challenge of a fragmented landscape by bringing vetted resources and organizations together under one roof.

A Collaborative Ecosystem Built by Military Entrepreneurs

MilStreet USA is powered by leading organizations serving the military-connected entrepreneurial community, including: The Rosie Network, the U.S. Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce, Spouse-ly, Veteran Business Project, VetSocial, and VetFran.

“I’ve always believed we are stronger when we build together. MilStreet brings organizations together around a shared mission while making it easier for military-connected entrepreneurs to find what they need on their journey,” Monica Fullerton, Co-Founder, MilitaryStreet USA.

Military Street USA’s growing ecosystem already reaches more than 100,000 military-connected businesses while creating new opportunities for collaboration between nonprofits, corporations, government agencies, and community leaders.

Corporate partners including CVS Health and Navy Federal Credit Union are among the first national companies supporting MilStreet’s mission to strengthen military entrepreneurship.

“Supporting military-connected entrepreneurs is one more way CVS Health can help veteran and military spouse-owned businesses succeed while creating opportunity across the broader military community. When these businesses grow, they can also create jobs for other veterans and military spouses, helping address persistent spouse unemployment and providing more pathways to meaningful employment, purpose, and continued service in their communities,” said Len Shankman, Executive Vice President, CVS Health and President, Pharmacy Services.
