Ocrolus helps mortgage lenders speed up loan underwriting with a new integration
NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ocrolus, a vertical AI workflow and analytics platform for lenders, announced today that it has integrated with Freddie Mac’s AIM Check application programming interface (API). Ocrolus’ new integration with AIM Check API enables lenders to benefit from an early borrower income assessment from Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®) asset and income modeler (AIM) as early in the process as lender’s pre-approvals.
Ocrolus customers can access AIM Check API through Ocrolus Analyze, inside the workflows they already use. Lenders can assess borrower repayment capacity faster and more precisely, reduce the risk of potential loan defects and simplify the mortgage process.
The integration submits the extracted borrower income data already captured and analyzed by Ocrolus to AIM Check API, enabling lenders to receive an early income assessment from AIM directly in Ocrolus Analyze. The integration covers wage-earner income from W-2s and pay stubs. By leveraging documents already in the loan file, lenders can assess income prior to a complete LPA submission and without duplicate data entry.
Income data collection and assessment remain among the most manual and time-intensive steps in mortgage origination. Through this integration, lenders can streamline income calculation, reduce manual effort and improve efficiency while increasing confidence in income calculations.
“Mortgage lenders already use Ocrolus throughout the origination process to transform bank statements, pay stubs and tax forms into decision-ready data,” said Nadia Aziz, GM of Mortgage at Ocrolus. “With this integration, that same data can now power an early income assessment from AIM inside lenders’ existing workflows. It’s a significant step in reducing manual touchpoints and further accelerating lenders’ path to clear-to-close.”
