Written six years ago and nearly left behind, ALYA’s new single transforms a personal chapter into a cinematic message of hope, resilience, and second chances.
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Six years ago, ALYA wrote a song she never expected to release.
Now, “BELIEVER” has become the first single from the Grammy-winning pop artist’s forthcoming album, In The Moment, arriving in late March 2027.

Available now across all major streaming platforms, “BELIEVER” was born from one of the most vulnerable periods in ALYA’s life; a time when heartbreak had convinced her that love was no longer meant for her. Then, unexpectedly, that certainty changed.
“I had completely given up on love after a painful situation that really got the best of me” ALYA says. “Then, out of the clear blue sky, heaven sent an angel into my life and made me a believer again.”
Produced by acclaimed musician and producer Tim Carmon and co-written by ALYA and Breana Marin “BELIEVER” transforms that experience into an emotionally charged pop record built around powerful vocals, soulful melodies, and cinematic production.
Possibly because of how personal the song was, ALYA kept it unreleased for years.
As time passed, she began to view the experience that inspired it as belonging to an earlier chapter of her life. The song remained in the vault until her partner challenged her to think beyond her own relationship with the material.
“I was told again and again, ‘Nobody else has heard it and you don’t know who you may inspire to keep going and not give up.” ALYA says.
That perspective changed everything. Especially since ALYA’s message behind her songs is to encourage and uplift.
“I realized I wish I had a song like this when I was at my breaking point” she says. “I know it would have inspired me to keep moving toward the light that was waiting for me.”
What began as a private reflection became something larger; a song about finding the courage to remain open to possibility after disappointment.
Musically, “BELIEVER” balances contemporary pop with the emotional scale and orchestral sensibility that have become central to ALYA’s sound. Marin and her creative team developed much of the song’s musical foundation, while Carmon contributed additional synthesizers and production elements that heighten the record’s cinematic character.
Also invited to the song’s musical arrangement party, is an unexpected instrument for a modern pop record: the accordion.
Its inclusion reaches directly into ALYA’s Eastern European upbringing. Her mother encouraged her to learn the instrument as a child, although ALYA resisted it at the time. Years later, she returned to that sound with a different appreciation, bringing it into “BELIEVER” as both a musical signature and a connection to her heritage.
“I wanted to bring something unique to this song” ALYA says. “Reaching into my childhood memories gave me the perfect opportunity to do so.”
The result is a record that feels distinctly personal without losing its universality; rooted in ALYA’s own story, but written for anyone who has ever decided that disappointment was the end of the story.
“BELIEVER” also marks the beginning of a broader creative chapter for ALYA. Her forthcoming album, In The Moment, explores vulnerability, identity, self assurance and all the unexpected ways life can return what once seemed permanently lost.
For ALYA, releasing “BELIEVER” after six years is ultimately less about revisiting a dark past than allowing that past to bring hope and light to someone in the present.
“I’m so excited to finally share my story of celebrating love after promising myself I would never love again” she says. “I hope ‘BELIEVER’ reminds anyone who has given up on love that true love can be yours if you only believe.”
