Doors Open Milwaukee returns September 26 and 27, when Historic Milwaukee opens more than 160 buildings to anyone who wants to walk through them. “I do carpentry on weekends, so the comparison comes naturally to me,” said Dr. Beau Schneiss, DMD, owner of Lake Park Dental. “You cannot fix a sagging floor by refinishing it. Patients come in after years of crowns and root canals and patches, and what they actually have is a structural problem that got treated cosmetically. Once you rebuild the foundation properly, the teeth on top can last.”
