Gryphon Investors (“Gryphon”), a leading lower middle-market private investment firm, today announced that it held a final closing of Gryphon VI Top-Up Co-Investment Partners (“GVI TUCP”) with more than $770 million in aggregate commitments. The fund was oversubscribed and exceeded its original target of $650 million.

GVI TUCP continues to build on the firm’s 30-year history of partnering with management teams in North America to build leading businesses in diverse, recession-resistant industries. The fund will invest in new portfolio companies alongside Gryphon’s current flagship fund Gryphon VI which makes control equity investments across Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrial Growth, and Technology Solutions & Services companies. It has participated in five such investments to date.
