Andreessen Horowitz announced today that it plans to establish a regional headquarters for its $1.176 billion American Dynamism fund in West Palm Beach, Florida, in an office tower owned by Related Ross. The new headquarters will serve as the fund’s operational base in Florida’s Gold Coast, marking a next chapter of investment in a region that is increasingly shaping the technologies and industries driving American competitiveness.

American Dynamism is focused on backing founders and companies that support the national interest. The practice invests across defense, aerospace, manufacturing, public safety, supply chains, industrials, housing, education, and other sectors critical to the country’s economic and technological leadership. As new centers of defense innovation continue to emerge across the country, the firm is expanding its presence beyond traditional technology hubs to invest closer to where these strategically important companies are being built. American Dynamism’s West Palm Beach headquarters will support the fund’s investment activity nationwide while deepening engagement with founders, business leaders, defense organizations, and research institutions across Florida’s Gold Coast.

Florida has become one of the country’s leading markets for aerospace and defense technology. The state ranks fourth nationally in Department of War spending and is home to three of the nation’s eleven unified combatant commands and 21 major military installations, creating a dense ecosystem of customers, technical expertise, and mission-driven innovation. Florida also has significant strengths across space, manufacturing, logistics, and other sectors aligned with the practice’s investment priorities.

Within the state, Florida’s Gold Coast — spanning Palm Beach to Miami-Dade counties — is emerging as a key hub for founders and companies building across these industries.
