For decades, hosting a football game meant the same thing: buffalo wings, a bowl of dip and a cooler of canned beer. But as the sport has evolved over the past 30 years, the way we gather around it can evolve, too. “Game Day, Elevated” offers a thoughtful alternative, pairing four approachable appetizers with wines from Sequoia Grove’s nationally distributed collection.

The program coincides with a milestone for the winery, as Sequoia Grove recently made its 2025 Sauvignon Blanc available nationally for the first time in the brand’s almost 50-year history. Bright and food-friendly, the Sauvignon Blanc joins the winery’s Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon as the featured wines for the season’s pairings.

• Brioche Burger Buns with Chuck–Short Rib Patties, Pimento Cheese, Pickle Coins & Arugula; Paired with Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
